Need a bujo tracker for temptation bundling?
Temptation Bundling …. Wha–?
Yeah, Temptation Bundling, you might even do it already, you just didn’t know it had a name!
Temptation Bundling is essentially a way to trick yourself into getting the less fun things in your life done by linking them to something you enjoy doing.
In this tracker, I’m demonstrating how you can bundle housework with podcasts, or the gym with Netflix – and track it!
Fun!
Temptation Bundling is a term coined by Katherine Milkman. She is an assistant professor at the Wharton School at Penn, and her passion is behavioral economics!
Listen to Katherine Milkman explain all about it on the Freakonomics Podcast: When Willpower Isn’t Enough.
Or watch a short video about this tracking spread here:
Essentially, all you need to do is come up with two things you can pair together. One thing you enjoy doing and another thing you find less enjoyable. For example:
Drinking wine while folding the laundry. (Just be careful not to spill any red wine on your clean whites!)
or
Listening to your favorite song while weeding the garden.
See how that works? You can turn your attention to the enjoyable activity while getting through the chore with less aggravation!
What kinds of things bundle well together to get through the drab activities with ease?
Tell me what you’ve bundled together to make it easier for you to get through the drudgery!
I’d love to hear from you! Plus, find more bullet journal ideas here!
